Hi there! I'm Jenny, the creator of Fly LegsUp.

Having flown extensively abroad to visit family, I understand firsthand the challenges of long-haul flights when travelling both with and without children. The discomfort, the inability to sleep well, and the inevitable swelling were problems I knew needed a solution. This realization struck me thousands of feet in the air, and by the time I landed, I was determined to make a change.

With a background surrounded by six international pilots, a flight attendant, and avid travelers in our family, I was inspired to create something revolutionary. Armed initially with just a sewing kit and a pillowcase, I crafted the first prototype of what would become the world's first adaptable Flight Hammock, designed for everyone from toddlers to adults.

Our journey from that first idea has been incredible. After nearly three years of intensive research and development, collaborating with Aviation Engineers and Industrial Designers, we launched the original Fly LegsUp in early 2016. This hammock meets strict aviation specifications, ensuring it's safe and suitable for in-flight use.

We then took our innovation a step further with the release of the Fly LegsUp My Flight Hammock, a more adaptable, freestanding version that travelers can use on planes, buses, and trains. Today, My Flight Hammock is recognized and accepted by over 60 airlines and complies with IATA (International Aviation Transport Authority) guidelines.
