The hammock is very adaptable and can make a flat platform/bed for infants & young children to sleep and play on, just like their bed at home. Their minimal space is maximised with the hammock and they have more room to play and ensure their toys won't get lost.

If your child is small enough to lie completely flat, it's a good idea to bring their favourite small pillow from home to lie their head on (or use the supplied airline pillow), as some airline seats slope slightly down towards the back of the chair and this will level it out, for a more comfortable and cosy sleep.

Older children also love to stretch out on the platform/bed created by the Fly LegsUp for Kids and Adults. They may also like to vary the height and position of the pillows, by adding or removing and changing the inflation levels of the pillows. Making them soft and squishy or hard and firm - Experiment!!

For older children who do not need a flat platform, you can use one of the Large pillows (inflated 1/2 or less), as a head or armrest.  

Health & wellness in the air is important! If you suffer from sleep deprivation, swelling, back pain on long flights or have a history of DVT, the Fly LegsUp for Kids and Adults has the potential to alleviate these issues. To use the hammock you do require a certain level of flexibility to elevate your legs into the hammock

Note: Fly LegsUp is NOT to be used during taxi, take-off and landing. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and continue to wear a seat belt when using the Flight Hammock.

We recommend My Flight Hammock for those who want a product that is suitable for Economy and beyond. However if travelers are looking for a comfort device for Economy only, we would recommend Fly LegsUp due to its lighter weight.  

We recommend booking a seat by the window or in the very middle section of the plane, as seen in the seating plan below.
 
Our hammocks are suitable for all Economy seats on the plane and most Premium Economy seats. Please note: some Premium Economy seats have a footrest which automatically lifts when you recline your seat, and in this circumstance you will not be able to use My Flight Hammock.

We recommend that infants and children who are small enough to lie completely flat do not use My Flight Hammock in the bulk head section or where there is no chair directly in front of the hammock

My Flight Hammock is classed as a personal comfort device and is not usually subject to approval by FAA/EASA/CASA. However, due to high customer interest in improving in-flight comfort, IATA has provided guidelines to airlines regarding the use of these products.
